During its games panel at Anime Expo 2025, Aniplex of America officially revealed Resident Evil: Survival Unit — a brand-new mobile strategy game developed in collaboration with JOYCITY and Capcom. The title is currently in development for iOS and Android, with a planned release across North America, Europe, Japan, South Korea, and Asia.

Described as a real-time strategy experience tailored specifically for mobile platforms, Resident Evil: Survival Unit aims to reimagine the iconic survival horror universe in a completely new format. According to the announcement, the game is being designed to appeal to both longtime Resident Evil fans and newcomers to the franchise.

More details and gameplay footage are expected to be revealed during an official online showcase stream scheduled for July 10.
